I have been staying at the Fairmont and adjoining Swissotel for decades now when in Singapore regularly for business. I used to look forward to my stays here with both hotels offering excellent service and facilities. Sadly, both hotels have simply not kept up with the times nor the competition. The hotels are in separate towers but share one complex of restaurants and recreation facilities and the location right by City Hall station is wonderful. The rooms at the Fairmont need an update, especially in terms of tech. Yes, the electric curtains are a novelty but where are the USB ports and reliable wifi?? There was just one USB port (by the work desk) which did not work. It is worth mentioning that the Swissotel has had a more recent upgrade of rooms and there are multiple USB ports near the bed. The decor in the Fairmont whilst well maintained is also very dated. They really need to sort wifi out. It used to work very well - when you were required to register with your room details. However, now it is open to anyone and everyone with one click and as a result it is unreliable, slow, sluggish and prone to frequent drop out which was frustrating when trying to work on my laptop. My most recent stay was a Thursday to Sunday and I experienced significant noise disturbance at night. Despite being on the 16th floor I could hear the bands playing at a nearby night entertainment complex. And finally, the gym/pool. Probably one of the main reasons I continued to choose the Fairmont/Swiss is for the great pool and very well equipped gym. However, the pool has become an amusement park for kids who's adoring parents scroll tik tok whilst their children are yelling, screaming and splashing in the pool. And whilst I was at the Fairmont most recently they had some sports teams staying at the hotel whom absolutely dominated the gym (I am talking about 20 members arriving en masse) and not just one team, multiple throughout the day. Sorry Swissotel/Fairmont, its been a great 20 or so years but next time I will be sourcing alternative accommodation.

Was a relatively good stay and given the top floor room. Must always take the South Tower. However the room has a connecting door and I could hear the neighbours (or housekeeping not sure) when moving things. The fridge in the room can’t be used except for a very small space at the bottom too. Would be much better if the fridge had more space for guests to put their items. The other thing that annoyed was that the towel given was too new and had alot of the lint/fluff that stuck to me and my face after my shower. The good thing was that there were ample of other towels I was able to change and used instead. Otherwise, the room is nice and I like the orientation of the toilet/bath tub.

This was my first time staying at Fairmont, and I had a wonderful experience! The staff was exceptional, particularly the friendly and helpful doorbell man. The breakfast selection was great, and a special thanks to Yamin, the team leader, and Moe, the room attendant, for keeping my room in fantastic condition all week. Their dedication was impressive. The high-pressure shower head and Le Labo amenities were lovely touches that added to my stay. I will definitely recommend Fairmont hotel to others

We traveled to Singapore for a weeks holiday and stayed in the Fairmont Hotel. From the moment we arrived until we departed we enjoyed every aspect of staying there. Well done to all staff members for your politeness and friendliness.

Convinient. Room Elevator connected to Raffles City Mall. Level 3 is food court area and Cafes.

Got our room upgraded to suite because our room type was not available and also because we have accor gold membership. Always nice to stay here. However, information about welcome drink was not totally correct. We should've got welcome drinks for each reservation we made. We made 2 reservations (1 for each night). But they said I only got 1 welcome drinks for the entire stay (that's something new). Turned out we were right, but we already missed 1 day of redeeming welcome drinks. (I figured it out that I was right from the restaurants where we claimed and from Swissotel Stamford as we moved there for our next stay). Everything else was great. Elevator connecting to Raffles City Mall is so convinient. Just take elevator and get of at level 3, and you are on the level where food court , PS Cafe and Coffee Club.
